“ Great little carneceria. The selection of meats, cheeses, and tortillas is hard to beat, and first rate quality. Only two aspects cause me to give it only 4 out of five: not enough produce (well, it IS a carneceria) and most of the staff is Spanish speaking only (I stumble now with my decades old limited grasp of the language.) Try the barbacoa de chivo! Altogether it's a very fine neighborhood establishment. ”

I have to wonder if this place is just so incredibly good, or am I just a starving Gringo who fell into the commercial food trap and just discovered how civilized people eat. It's not from an American super market. For 1/2 the price of a raw whole chicken at AJ's or Whole Foods, you can get a perfectly grilled spatchcocked chicken that is far better than anything I can grill at home, and I can grill. The tamales are next level. Everything there just looks amazing. Apart of the amazingness of their food, the people who work there are super kind. I obviously feel very out of place as the rare gringo who ventures in, and my spanish is really bad, but everyone was patient with me and treated me with kindness Can't wait to go back. ”

“ The smell of mesquite chicken being grilled out front of Carnicería del Pacifico lured me in when I was driving by. I was happy I did. This carnaceria is as authentic as they come. I ordered a whole chicken which was Hot off the grill and chopped on the spot. I also ordered a pound of meat which I'll make on taco Tuesday. Lastly, I couldn't pass on the homemade queso fresco. Wow, melts in your mouth. Pro tip : order the queso fresco I am positive there are other incredible Carnicería's in the valley, but it's hard to imagine one better than Carnicería del Pacifico ”

“ Pretty dang delicious! You can get ready to eat tacos and such or get all kinds of things through the butcher counter. So far I've only ordered the carne asada. There are 2 types of meat, 1 that is better than the other - looks like flap meat while the other has a streak of fat in the middle. The better one is definitely the way to go! (Starts w/ an E). They weight it out and then add marinade to it. After about a day, it's ready to grill. They also sell tortillas and cheeses for your taco making pleasure! ”
